Last night things changed a bit in the Bridges house. As we wound down and got Hudson in bed ... HE read to ME. We got some of these ABeka curriculum books and we got the 1st two books out. Hudson has started writing alot of words and reading things when we least expect it. At school, he has torn through the phonics chart. SO ... this was the next step for him. He actually read these books to me. He is FOUR! There were some stumbles along the way ... but less than a hand full. I am SO proud of Hudson and he is very proud of himself! So now, he reads to me at night too. There is nothing sweeter than the first time your child reads a book to you! I cried my eyeballs out!

Reversal of roles ... and nothing sounds sweeter!

Oh that is so great!!! What a smart little boy! Harvard bound for sure!!
He is so SMART!! Definitely Harvard bound. ... Of course, I don't know how you would handle that.. I guess you'd have to move with him!!HAHA!!
I know!! It's funny because when we get to school in the morning all my little kids run to give me hugs ... and I have to REMIND Hudson to give me my hugs and kisses. He is growing up SO fast and just really becoming his own little person. I am SO lucky!
