Some happies

Okay ... let's face it - it's been a week of happies for Hudson! Amanda and Clayton showed up with a BASKET full of fun things for him and then this morning Todd and I gave him our gifts. He was SO SO excited. We are so excited about becoming a family TODAY!

Dinner with the sisters!

Last night - after Huddy went to bed - we had a family dinner with the siblings. Clayton, Amanda, Elizabeth, Kerk, Suzannah, Todd and me!! We had filets, stuffed potatoes, Liz made a wonderful dip (thanks again!!!) and then cake! It was a perfect night. We all had so much fun together! They all complained about how I would put bad pictures of them on the blog ....

JA v PREP

We went and watched our Accents perform ... and do a GREAT job and then watched a little of the game. As soon as we walk in ... Todd got stung by a bee and Hudson busted his knee open! Thursday at school Hudson fell and busted both lips ... followed by a sinus infection! Whew ....

Trying on tuxes!

ALL Hudson wanted to do Friday was go and get his tux. That is all he talked about at school. He was SO excited when he finally got to try it on! I cried my eyes out ... then Todd tried his on and I cried again! They are SO SO precious!

Last night we had dinner with Bom, Nenow, Docky, Todd, Hudson and I. Translation ... my mom and his parents. When we got there they had Todd's old soccer game (how fitting) set up for Hudson to play ... and of course he LOVED it! We had a great night making sure we were ready. 5 MORE DAYS!!!!!

Dara and Doug's Wedding

I only took pictures in the room while we got ready ... but Dara was beautiful!!!! The wedding and receptions were fabulous. Gorgeous flowers, delicious food, incredible decorations and the cakes were to die for! It was a was a WONDERFUL weekend! Congratulations DD and Doug - we love you!

Doug and Dara's Rehearsal Dinner

All I can say is ... I don't know that I have laughed that hard in a very long time. The Rehearsal Dinner was perfectly Dara and Doug. There were some great speeches and lots and lots of laughter. Dara's college friends call our group "90210" ... and sure enough at the dinner - we had a table and the college friends had a table. It was public school vs. private school (except for you Ken ... we hate you had to go slumming). It was so much fun!!!!
