Is Santa coming?

After Church Wednesday night, Hudson ran to the fireplace to see if the elves had left a gift. If Santa is coming the next night - then they leave a small gift - usually a book to read that night - in the fireplace! Sure enough it was there ... AND there was an email video from Santa too! Hudson's name and picture were in the book ... it was GREAT!

Canton Christmas Lights

We went and saw the lights in Canton! There were not many people there at all - so we got to ride the firetruck and just run around having fun! It was SO much fun and Hudson had a blast!

Birthday Party for Jesus!

The morning after the last night of the Live Nativity the preschool Sunday School's had a Birthday Party for Jesus. They got "Jingle for Jesus" bracelets, Advent lesson, Birth of Jesus story, made cupcakes themselves and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus, got to create ornaments and sticker nativities ... and much more. They also all brought gifts as part of their Mission Project for a family that we adopted locally who has experienced some hard times due to a car accident. It was a GREAT event and I couldn't have done it without all of my precious volunteers! Thank you for touching our children's hearts during this very important time. I took about 60 pictures and will have all the pictures sent all of the classes and volunteers to see!

Words cannot express the impact that this had on my family's life. It put everything in perspective for Christmas and was an awesome event to be a part of. Thank you to all of my friends who came through to support us and also share this message with your family. I really couldn't have done it without my sweet husband ... we spent many hours at the Church and he was always there to help and also to take Hudson and have time with him.

Story Christmas

We went to Atlanta to have Christmas with Gran, Stacy, Danny, Megan, Clayton, Amanda, TJ, Charlene and Nicky 2 weeks before Christmas! It was WONDERFUL! We had so much fun and all got to stay at Stacy and Danny's together!

Live Nativity at Christ United Methodist Church

Do not miss this wonderful event and chance to experience the true meaning of Christmas with your family. What an opportunity!?! We are so excited to have this start tonight. Volunteers have worked around the clock to make this possible and it is going to be something to see! We have several scenes which include live people and animals and you will receive a CD with the Christmas Story on it to listen to as you drive thru and keep! There is also a special treat for the kids at the end. Hudson and I have LOVED being a part of this and are headed back that way to set up and get ready to share Christ with the entire community this weekend. Everyone is invited - you never leave your car ... just enjoy with your friends and family! I know my friends will come to see and support me ... hint hint .... :) Can't wait! Hope to see you there!

Accents - Mustard Seed

The Accents performed and played at the Mustard Seed last week. Cecilia and I brought Huddy and Gaby. There are not enough words for the wonderful power that I saw work through all of us. There were games, dancing and lots of fun. I was very proud of the girls and impressed with their hearts of gold! It was an awesome experience for Hudson too!
