SO cute!

We had a shower for Christie a while back on the Coast (thank you Courtney for all of your hard work!) that we were not able to attend. I had to post this picture though of how cute Christie looks! We can't wait for Sadie to get here Christie!!

A visit with Hayes!

Hudson just LOVED sweet Hayes. She is such a good baby and so cute. Haley is doing fabulous and looks great! We loved getting some time with them today! Look at her looking up at her new friend!

Cracker Barrel and home!

On the way home we stopped by Cracker Barrel for a GREAT meal. The penguin ate at the table with us! Hudson is a very loyal young man to his friends! ;) I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day!

New Orleans - IMAX Theater

We kind of last minute decided to go see an IMAX movie. We went saw "Sea Monsters". It was 3D and AMAZING!!!!!! Hudson was absolutely adorable. When fish would swim toward us - he would reach out and try to grab them and pet them! I loved watching him enjoy the experience way more than anything else! We are so blessed!

New Orleans - Aquarium

After the zoo we headed to the Aquarium. ALL Hudson wanted to do all day was see the sharks and pet them. So we passed EVERYTHING to go straight to see the shark to pet. He kind of froze when it was his turn - but he LOVED it. He was the most precious thing running through the Aquarium. They have an Adventure Island part that is so hands on and fun for the kids! He loved all of it though. He loved the Rainforest, the fish, the sharks, the feeding of the penguins! and Adventure Island ... oh, and the chocolate ice cream with rainbow sprinkles! ;) I loved watching his joy on this trip - there is nothing more precious. As we were leaving he got a stuffed animal penguin that is VERY important in our home right now. He is actually on the Smart Cycle right now learning how to play! ha ha!

New Orleans - Zoo!

We woke up early yesterday morning and headed to New Orleans for the day. We got there and went straight to the River Walk for beignets. They were delicious! Hudson ate 3 huge beignets and loved watching the man make them!!! Then we were off to the zoo. Let me say - it was some kind of hot but SO SO fun. We were there for hours! You could stay there all day. Hudson LOVED every minute of it! We ate lunch there and just enjoyed seeing all there was. That zoo is really amazing!

Night on the Coast!

We went back to the Coast Sunday afternoon to spend the night! Nicky, Charlene and Gran met us and Nicky took the whole crew to the Harbor House for dinner! It was DELICIOUS! Thanks again Nicky - that was TOO nice! As we were eating a horrible storm hit and so there was no swimming that night. I did put Gran in charge of getting Hudson out of the car during the rainstorm ... and Charlene and I hear "Run Hudson" and look over and she has Hudson running to the house while she is under the umbrella. She looked at us as if we were crazy and said "I can't get my hair messed up!". Charlene about wet our pants! Thanks again for letting us stay. We had so much fun!

Shappley's

We went to dinner Tuesday night for Bom's birthday again with Stacy and Megan. Hudson LOVED steak and ate about 4 oz of the filet! ha ha! He wants to go back ... way to keep those standards low huh?!

Happy Birthday Bom!

We went to dinner Monday night to celebrate Bom's birthday and then back to our house for cake! Happy Birthday BOM! We love you!

Dinner at the Creel's!

Saturday night Nicky and Charlene cooked ribs for us with his special sauce. They were DELICIOUS!!!! Thanks again for a wonderful day and night. The water in the pool was ICE COLD but Hudson HAD to get in. He stayed for literally 10 minutes tops! ha ha!!

Children's Museum

This place is UNBELIEVABLE! They had a huge climbing cage, a huge sandbox, several amazing treehouses, trains, playhouses, a grocery store with real groceries and a working cash register, a shrimp boat, a tug boat, unloading trucks, a weather tv station, a kyack (spelling?!), air shuttle, airplane, special needs learning area, mexican restaurant area ... and so much more. It was just amazing. It was also the birthday of the museum so they had a painting area, a place to make wings (either bat or butterfly - wonder what we picked?) and a place to make cupcakes! It was so fulfillling watching Hudson's wonder and joy!
