Another fun Sunday!!! We are continuing the study of how God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. We focused on David this week and how he was a shepherd but became a king because it is what is in your heart that matters - not the outside, not the job you have, etc. The kids made crowns (hence the king part) with jewels attached that contained things that made each of them extraordinary. Then they made heart necklaces (because God looks at the heart) with their memory verse on it. They then took a paper doll shepherd David and gave him a crown and a king's robe! They also made puppets that they flipped from shepherd side to king size in accordance with the story as it was told! It was alot of hands on fun!! How blessed are we!
