Where do I start with this?! The Children's Ministry at Christ United has been helping with Operation Christmas Child (visit http://www.samaritanspurse.org/ for more info). We decided that it was a great service project for the Accents to partake in! They were so excited about being a part of such a wonderful and larger than life experience and embraced it with open arms. I challenged them to bring 150 boxes ... they brought OVER 200!!!!! Today, we loaded the boxes up and helped get them to Christ United to join the other 500+ boxes already there. The staff welcomed them with open arms and a thank-you sign!! It is such a humbling experience and I am SO proud of the Accents for generously giving themselves to this project! WAY TO GO!! These children are getting more for Christmas than you can imagine.
