Promotion Sunday!!!

It was Promotion Sunday!!! I was running around like a crazy woman ... so I did not get many pictures that had Hudson in them this week! We had a HUGE turn out and it was so wonderful to have our families flowing through the doors again. There was music playing and pictures flashing up everywhere. It was just a fun time! They made necklaces with "red and yellow, black and white" beads - as a symbol to remind them that God's love is for EVERYONE!!! And yes ... that is Zach! Hudson LOVES Zach!!! When his picture flashed up during the slide show, Hudson JUMPED out of his chair yelling "Zach"! Zach is such a wonderful role model for Huddy!

BOM'S HOUSE!

Yeah! Bom's better!!!! We went over to Bom's house to grill out Saturday night. We had filets and just got to hang out. I was getting the craft ready for Sunday School the next day and Hudson made a "red and yellow, black and white" (they are precious in His sight ...) necklace for Bom too! It was so much fun. Hudson cried and cried when we had to leave ... he LOVES his Bom!

HUDSON'S GOING TO PREPRIMER!

Whew ... what a week!! I had Work Week this week getting the classrooms ready for the children! We have had more fun. Hudson was kind of flipping around this week since there was no daycare. Between Bom, Mimi, Emily and Claire ... Hudson had more fun than he could handle, a pan of brownies, a spider man phone and a black spider man outfit (so that he can dress as the good one and the bad one! yikes!). We have had Accent practices, Accent parent meetings and our Church is getting ready for Promotion Sunday. So ... we have been busy! Today was the parent meetings where we find out the children's teachers. I was excited to have some VERY familiar faces in my class and thrilled because Hudson's class is LOADED with friends and there are some new ones to make!!!!!! His teacher is Jane Nalty ... and he loves telling people that. She is incredible and we are SO SO blessed and happy. I brought home his bag, carpool number, etc. etc. and he has been showing it off! He also got his karate outfit that he thinks is very cool! We got the list of his soccer team and were SO excited to have Alex Summerford on our team and then a boy in Hudson's class who we don't know yet too! We're excited about the beginning of this fun year!

SUNDAY, AUGUST 5th

What a fun lesson this week! The kids got to learn about Jonah and how he had to PRAY to get out of the whales belly! Hudson was SO glad to be with his friends again. They took a "trip" inside the belly of the whale with Julie and got to actually pet the whale! ;) They were the most entertained thinking about how the belly must have smelled like dirty socks! Crazy!!! They got to watch the Jonah Veggie Tales movie in Praise Patch and got to enjoy the Jonah BIG BOOK! They got to put a whale in the ocean and draw Jonah praying in the belly. Of course, it was goldfish for a snack! They are all so so cute. This was the last Sunday in the pod - next Sunday is Promotion Sunday and they move up!! Natalie and I took them to see their new room and then explained that after Sunday School they now go to BIG Church and get to leave after the children's message for their special new service. They were so excited!!! It's amazing watching this cute bunch grow up!

Feeling better!!!!

Hudson is feeling much much better! Thanks for all of the calls and get well gifts! Friday night he wanted some ice cream with gummy bears - so off we went. He loved it! Today was much much better. He COVERED his arm in pirate tatoos and had fun playing with ... yes ... that HUGE Shrek balloon. Let me start by saying Hudson LOVES it because Zach Nethery gave it to him but also because 1. it is huge, 2. it is a balloon, 3. it is Shrek and 4. it PLAYS the song AllStar! It's hilarious. He is very proud of it. The Wise and Box children made him colorful pictures covered with glitter and jewels! SO SO sweet!

CORALIE

This is my cousin, Jennifer, with her husband, Greg, and our newest addition Coralie. Isn't she ADORABLE!!!!! They live in TN and although Hudson has met her, I still haven't gotten to meet our new addition. She just got back from Paris ... somehow it is depressing to think that she's already been and I'm 31 and haven't gotten close! haha!!

Mary Carter Callaway

I had to share these pictures of Mary Carter Callaway. She is SOO cute! Her Daddy, Carter, and I have been best friends since high school and her Mommy, Katherine, is one of my favorite Hattiesburg girls!!!! They are the cutest little family! Isn't she adorable! I love her and wish we could see her more!
