Today in Sunday School ... Allison, Jill and Jennifer ... helped wrap up the Stewardship Art Show for the kids! We are SO lucky to have such wonderful people working for the greater good of our Church.
I think it's so wonderful that your church offers sunday school programs that really encourage your children to stretch their imaginations and their artistic spirits while all the while not forgeting life's bigger meaning through God. I'm a part time teacher part time student who teaching theatre classes to 7-11 year olds and I truly feel that it is immensly important not just to cram heads full of info, even if that info is of the most important kind (like religion). But I really believe that without an outlet for a child, it is wasted. It is important for children to figure out for themselves on an individual basis the best way for them to express themselves. I'm so happy you're encouraging your children to stretch their imaginations as well as their minds and hearts.
Todd is the Executive Director at Medical Practice Solutions and a soccer coach for Jackson Futbol Club (Coach of the Year in Mississippi AND for the Region III!!) Story works at Jackson Academy in the preschool as well as an Accent sponsor. I am also the Director of Sunday Preschool at Christ United Methodist Church and have an online stationery business. Hudson is in Kindergarten at JA and plays soccer, tball, karate, basketball and computertots. He LOVES all of his friends and is one of the most wonderfully powerfully passionate people I have ever known with the best sense of humor.
