Dinner at Shapleys

We had the BEST time at the dinner at Shapleys. Mrs. Warren had colorbooks made for the kids that were about Todd & Story's Wedding. It was PRECIOUS! Gayla Sanders did the cakes and they were breathtakingly gorgeous and delicious. Thanks so so much Gayla. All the families together was an incredible time and so much fun. Everyone signed a book about Mississippi as they came in. There were special touches everywhere that made this the most wonderfully magic night. As we took the "cutting the cake" pictures ... Hudson did not understand that we were not supposed to really cut it ... it was priceless! As we introduced our families ... Hudson accidentally said that Bom had died instead of my Dad ... it was the perfect way to help make light of the situation! Hudson said the prayer ... and there weren't many dry eyes after that. He just "off the cuff" prays the most gorgeous and heart-felt prayers. He was so grateful that we were a family ... and it was the most precious words! It was the most wonderful dinner and we thank everyone for the parts they played! (Liz ... bringing the DVD player for the kids, Alan ... updates on ball game scores, all the toasts, the cakes, the flowers, the food ... the gifts for the kids ... every details was incredibly beautiful!) Thank you to the Warrens and Bom for all you did to make our day extra special!

How many people does it take to get a sash tied?! We had so much fun getting me ready ... Jenny ... thanks for the pictures - they were fabulous!

Wedding Coordinators

Let me tell you ... if Lindsay, Jenny and Dara wouldn't have been there ... trouble would have been the only word. They helped get everyone where they needed to be ... ran all over the place getting us ready ... and truly were wedding coordinators in every sense of the word! Thank you so so so much guys! (sorry you had to get the balcony view!) From picking up flowers ... to putting on bout., getting me dressed and ready, getting people where they were supposed to be - when they were supposed to be ... and then helping with the ceremony timing ... I could NOT have done it without you! Thank you. Love you love you love you!

Man of the hour!

Deborah helped Hudson get in his tux while we all just watched and laughed at how funny he was! There was an incident with the top button ... but we are not going back there. After we all had hair and makeup done ... it was time to move on to the Church. Well ... my dress wouldn't fit in the car. So, Bom puts me, Hudson and Amanda in her car and we start leaving. Stacy and the dress are following us. IN THE DRIVEWAY ... Bom puts the car back in reverse to straighten out and from the backseat Amanda starts saying "Stacy Stacy Stacy ..." - Bom lays on the horn and then CRASH!!!! Stacy nails Boms car! For some strange reason we all just burst out laughing ... and instead of getting out and checking on the car ... Bom says "We don't have time for this" and floors it out of the driveway and to the Church! Then Lindsay calls ... Dara is at Fresh Cut picking up the flowers but cannot find them ... poor DD ends up finding the flowers and makes it to the Church to save the day!

Getting hair done ...

Amanda, Bom, Hudson and I all had our hair done by Deborah the day of the wedding. She is FABULOUS and we had a great time getting ready with her! Thanks again for all the help!
